Overview

Led by a creative duo, Magri Williams works on bespoke architectural and interior design projects that focus on calm, crafted, and tactile environments. At the beginning of our collaboration, we focused on refining client-facing documents and later, work stage presentations.

Opportunity

When working closely with clients on architectural commissions, it is vital to ensure that a great deal of care and attention is given to guiding clients through the process, clearly outlining steps and actionable items. It was a valuable opportunity to collaborate with Magri Williams to explore potential improvements to the documents to enhance legibility and tailor the messaging. After conducting an audit of the existing layouts, we identified several opportunities to improve the hierarchy across the documents.

Outcome

The introduction of a gridded system, along with specifically designed styles, enabled us to elevate the layout designs. While maintaining minimal, typography-driven content, the layouts were organised in a clearer and more cohesive manner. The introduction of earthy colours to the covers helped convey the practice’s focus on craftsmanship and atmosphere from the outset. Additionally, more dynamic image layouts provide a break from the rigid grid system, showcasing the projects in a more engaging manner.
