AR City was one of the Live Projects that I was involved with in Autumn 2018. The client on the project wanted to get together a festival run and inspired by the youth of Sheffield that would focus on the usage of new technologies, especially AR. As part of the brief, we were tasked to provide documents, presentation materials and exhibition in a span of 4 weeks. In the group of 12, I was in charge of creating graphic content. Outputs included merchandise (keyrings and postcards), posters, business cards and set of documents that encapsulated the ambitions of the project.
IBM Plex Sans was used as the leading typography as it expressed modern and forward-looking approach to typography and departure from Helvetica. Bold colours and scattered graphic elements were used to create dynamic compositions that would draw passersby attention.
